When Miri’s mom showed up, I knew this was gonna be an emotionally heavy episode. She looked like a different person, and I didn’t recognize her at first. Well, Miri was really happy to see her.

And now they really want to separate Miri from her Papas… I hope they will turn their backs on the organization – no one is allowed to separate the family! Where is Vin Diesel?

I couldn’t fully enjoy papas' fun time with Miri, considering all that was going on… The Ferris wheel scene was deep and it really made me emotional. Miri being so happy and all smiles, while her papas were contemplating their lives dealt some emotional damage. And the music didn’t help either.

But when Kazuki gave the scarf to Miri and she said “See you tomorrow, Papa!” – that was when I lost it and even shed a tear. What else is in store for us?

The most emotional ferris wheel I've ever felt

In fairness to Rei he's the one doing the middleman between Kazuki and Miri's mom argument. He's raising rational points and Miri's welfare if she decided to just take her away. My boy is really growing 😭

Oh shit! I lost my cool when Kazuki started tearing up and hugging Miri tightly.
All throughout the episode I've been clutching my knuckles soo hard because they have to let go of Miri...

Me too. That moment almost got me there.

Everytime they zoom in on Kazuki's face, I can feel a knot tying in my throat and my tears are welling up.

I was going to make a joke about Miri's mom marrying Kazuki so everyone gets a happy ending...and then there was the cancer reveal. :\

What's the worst i can think of is Miri's separated from her papas, her mama dies, and become orphan. Her path is full of darkness ahead. I hope they fake their own death to be with Miri. Organization wouldn't let they go off easy or quit, and even Rei's papa doesn't seem like the type to let Rei be free. Maybe twist? I just hope for a good ending.

Right?! Getting Miri all attached to a mum she's gonna eventually lose again is kinda cruel too... :/

On the other hand, now the papas can do something about the organisation while Miri is safe. Maybe?

rather they raze the organization. One that requires absolute annihilation of your humanity to do your job is better off as ashes. The best killers are more human than those things pretending to be human.

Everything in this episode caught me off guard seriously ..

She can't just waltz in showing her mama card to take away Miri... she also needs to do her mama duty to the papas... Rei and Kazuki should spit roast her. That'll be good for her throat cancer.

This one was a little sad, really hope they get her back, it can't end this way.

Plus Rei looked really pissed when he found out the organsation was targeting Miri.

Clearly this is Miss Anna's first time singing Silent Night if she blundered in front of the kids.

That, or it's her first time speaking Engrish. XD

Or maybe that's the reason Miri said Anna's singing was "diabolical" a few episodes ago.

Pretty sure it was just her suck at singing.

Episode got me in tears

God there is nothing i hate more than a bio parent abandoning their child and suddenly having a change of heart and coming back with "I am her true parent and I deserve to take her back" or whatever ugh Sure her circumstances are tragic but this type of behaviour I rly cant stand it. Hopefully they somehow end this series properly and without regrets bc holy shit 75% of the show was about changing, moving on and allowing oneself to be happy and its all for this??? The theme is found family and not "blood is thicker than water" bs, whats the point of this whole series if they dont deliver lol Considering they specifically made it so Miri's mom is on limited time i would expect a timeskip where she is gone and Miri comes back but who knows at this point, thats honestly a shitty thing too lol

Put that all aside, Miri's time with her time while it still last is actually a right thing to do. For the sake of the child, it is sad that her mom has to die when she's still a kid. Miri loved her mom too.

But, the best option would be 4 of them living together under 1 roof, creating happy memories while her mom still alive.

ofc her time with her mom is important but you know u are dying, why take the kid away completely??? Thats just gonna add more trauma to her, especially such a small child.
And after death what happens?? who takes Miri?? The grandparents? Then
why didnt Misaki give her to them in the first place??
Visits exist, thats how they could do it. Make a deal that until u get rid of the threat she lives with Misaki but you all can still coparent her later and enforce some visits system.

That's why I hoped for a better solution that they all live together. All 4 of them.
The problem of Miri following her mom is as u explained, but the problem of Miri staying with her papas can't be ignored too.
One is grief, one is life-threatening situation.

If Miri was the reason they got sloppy at their jobs. Then, why don't they let her mama take care of her while they are busy to focus on planning how to carry out their next job? And when they are finished with their job, back to all 4 together family time again.

The creepy dude who collects last words seems to be targetting Miri as per Kyu-chan, that's why they decided to send Miri away with her mom. I dunno if the creepy dude is doing that because the Boss ordered him to or just he is being extra creepy.
I also thought the same , that maybe they could live all together but yeah Miri and the mom might get hostage or something.

Neither option is the perfect choice. Only a choice they believe is the best.

She only came back because her ass got cancer and she can’t sing anymore then her man left her am sure if she could have still sing and her man went no where she wouldn’t be back for miri

I'm feeling that Miri's mom story doesn't add up.

- She implies she has a throat cancer but seconds earlier she wanted to lit up a cigarette. Plus, there's absolutely no mention of her getting any treatment for the cancer, only the super dramatic "I don't know how much time I still have".
- She first says she'll be moving in back with her parents because she doesn't have a job anymore and then she says she'll rent an apartment near the daycare.
- When Kazuki doesn't buy her sob story, she turns to threats.
- She acts horrified that Kazuki and Rei are assassins for hire but earlier she implied she knew what Miri's father is doing. Double "suspicious" points for her trying to manipulate Kazuki and Rei with "If you really consider yourself as her parents, then you should let her leave with me".

So I'm actually wondering is what she said the truth or is it a story invented by her or Kyu-chan, in hopes Kazuki and Rei will feel sorry for her and give Miri to her.

nah the organization does. Kyu is unfortunately just following orders or risks getting killed himself. He doesn't have the same freedom those two have.
